Dear Freedom Life Church Family,

We are experiencing a move of God! It is humbling to see what is happening at Freedom Life – lives are being changed, attendance is increasing in every area of ministry, and we are seeing a real spiritual hunger in our region! What a privilege it is for each of us to be part of what God is doing in our day. God is really “preparing us for more!”

Our heart is to always say “yes” when we feel God is speaking. We have been praying and prepping for years for God to show us when the time was right to add more space. Now is the time! He has led us to this season of time to get us ready for the next chapter in South Butler.

In Haggai 1:8, God said, “Build my house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored,” – and that is exactly what we want to do. This has always been about Jesus and what He wants. We all get to be part of building what’s on His heart for this region.

We want to encourage you to pray and ask God what your part is – what is God saying to you? We can all pray, serve, and give to see Him honored during this campaign. Let’s be people who live with a “yes!” in our hearts!

Our Why

We have seen God bring amazing growth in the last few years. We believe now is the time to make room for more people to find freedom in Jesus Christ.

  • Sanctuary attendance has increased by close to 25% in the last two years
  • Kids Ministry has doubled in the last year (80–100 kids are in attendance each week)
  • Youth Group has outgrown the current Youth Room (50–70 students are in attendance each week)
  • We need more space for moms and families to view the services

Our Plan

We plan to accommodate the growth that we are seeing in various ministries by building a brand new Children’s Ministry Wing first, followed by our Sanctuary Expansion.

Our goal is to see the project done to completion over the next few years, while believing for the project to be fully funded.

  • Continue to grow in attendance and ministry effectiveness throughout the building process

● Q: Why are we expanding our building?

○ A: As we mentioned above, we are outgrowing our current building. We are experiencing growth in almost every ministry and we desire to create more space for people to come and encounter Jesus and find freedom in Him; we feel that now is the time to do so!

● Q: When do you expect to start and finish construction?

○ A: We plan to break ground for the new Children’s Ministry Wing in Summer 2026. We anticipate that project concluding by Summer 2027, at which time we will begin work on the Sanctuary Expansion; we expect the Sanctuary Expansion to be completed a year or so out from whenever it is started.

● Q: How can I contribute to the building project?

○ A: You can click the link above to make a one-time gift or recurring donation. If you have any questions about donating other financial assets, please

● Q: If I give to the campaign, does it come out of my tithe or is it above and beyond?

○ A: Your gift is above and beyond your regular tithe; it is a sacrifice given towards
what the Lord is doing here.

● Q: If I give, can I decide which part of the project my donation goes to?

○A: 100% of campaign donations will be used for the building project, under the direction of the staff, elders, and Building Campaign Team.

● Q: Are building donations tax deductible?

○ A: Yes, your building contribution will be included in your annual giving summary
at the end of the year.

● Q: Can I make donations besides cash?

○ A: Yes. We are currently able to accept cash and credit card donations, stocks,
and crypto currency. If you have questions about other donations you’d like to
give, (ie. real estate property, certificates, etc) please contact
admin@freedomlifeny.com

● Q: Are we committed to completing this project debt-free?

○ A: We believe in the faithfulness of God and the generosity of our church family,
knowing that God is more than able to provide for the project. We may need to
borrow money during the process to keep construction on schedule, but we have
faith to believe the Lord will provide for the full project cost over the upcoming
years.

● Q: How do I find out how much money has been given to the project?

○ A: As time goes on, you can view our giving progress bar above to stay up to
date on any funding updates.
